LAW OFFICE OF ROBERT DESCHENE - AN ATTORNEY PREPARING QUALITY SIGNATURE-READY DOCUMENTS FOR OTHER ATTORNEYS

I am an attorney with twenty years experience in both federal and state court who prepares quality, signature-ready pleadings, motions (including summary judgment motions), and briefs (trial and appellate) for other attorneys who need temporary assistance with their heavy caseloads. When you outsource your legal project to another attorney for a flat fee, you not only save yourself precious practice time, but can pass the significant cost-savings on to your practice and to your client. Why create an new attorney position at your practice, and incur the permanent costs associated with hiring and employing that attorney? Instead, outsource to an independent contractor on a case-by-case basis. I am admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine, but also provide these support or "OF COUNSEL" services under independent contract with other attorneys in all jurisdictions in the United States.  We guarantee delivery of your documents at least ONE WEEK prior to your filing deadline.

In November 2008, an ABA Ethics Opinion noted the many cost-added benefits to attorneys who hire a freelance attorney to handle their appeals:  cost savings, time management, and practice diversification.  For example, my flat fee for a basic appellate brief typically starts at around $6,000, with upward or downward adjustments to reflect the relative complexity of your appeal.  The cost to produce the same appellate brief in-house normally is far higher.  You may pass some of these cost savings along to your client, and use the remainder to increase your profit margin.   When you find yourself swamped with work, facing impossible filing deadlines, or handling a case in an unfamiliar area of the law, you can turn to a freelance attorney to ease you over your temporary crisis.
